It’s time for an important update. I won’t beat around the bush with it; in both a positive and a challenging turn of events, we are going to have to increase our prices from February 1st this year.
The reason? Well, thanks to the incredible support of our customers helping us to grow our business more and more over the past few years, we’ve reached the stage where we now have to register for VAT, which means almost a quarter of all our sales from here on will no longer be ours. (Yikes, when I put it like that, it makes me want to cry/shake my fist at the heavens/eat my body-weight in chocolate!)
It’s a positive step in the right direction, we want the business to grow of course, and this is an inevitable part of that process. Unfortunately, it does mean that we have no choice but to raise our prices.
We don’t like to charge more, especially to our loyal long-term customers, and especially when we’re not even going to be seeing any additional income from it! But such is the world of business, at least here in Ireland. And hey, now we’re really doing our bit for the Irish government, right?!
So, if you’ve had your eye on anything on our website or in any of our stockists, now is definitely the time to grab it. There’s only a few more days left before our prices change on Friday, February 3rd. We will of course do our best to keep our prices as affordable as possible and to offer deals and discounts wherever possible.
Meanwhile, thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts, for the massive support you’ve shown us these last few years, that has enabled us to actually reach this stage. We are incredibly grateful for every hard-earned euro you spend on our creations. You will probably never realise just how much it means to us!
