An Irish-Indian Love Story
“Cara” is the Gaelic word for friend or ‘dear one’ and “Aliza” combines Ali and Liz, who met (and fell in love!) in India over ten years ago.
Caraliza links Ireland and India, deep love and friendship, beauty and elegance, which, after all, are the qualities we prize most when it comes to designing each unique piece of jewellery.
We’re quietly confident that you too will fall a little bit in love again, each time you wear one of our special creations!
Award-Winning Bespoke Irish Jewellery
Ethically Handcrafted in India
All our unique jewellery is fully handcrafted in 92.5 sterling silver in our Indian studio in Jaipur (northern India) thanks to the abilities of our long-standing goldsmith, Ashis, our recent addition to the team, Kumar (stone-setter) and our head of operations in India, Lucky (Alex’s oldest friend and an emerald specialist).
At the heart of our business with his ability to turn our various ideas into stunning pieces of jewellery, Ashis is a kind, intelligent father of two and an exceptional goldsmith, while Kumar, our highly skilled stone-setter, is a warm friendly young man whose grandparents came from old East-Indian tribes.
We complement our jewellery collection with an exclusive range of stunning luxurious Merino wool shawls, selected individually from an independent family-run business in India. It is a privilege to be able to see our own creative ideas becoming unique beautiful pieces of jewellery, treasures with which to mark your style, your personality and the most precious moments in life.
