Tugging at the Heart Strings!
I never anticipated this happening before Little Boo arrived on the scene. Whenever it does, I feel split down the middle; unable to fully relax and enjoy the time with my friend and simultaneously feeling as though I’m not giving Boo the full attention he deserves. And that’s really the killer, because hey: #momguilt!
Time? What’s that again?
Time. What is that again? It’s been just three months since I had any and yet I can’t seem to recall what it feels like… Yup, becoming a Mum has allowed me to enter the world of all the time-less parent. Now, Einstein had a theory of relativity, that...
Lizzie Lou and Little Boo
It’s time. Time to get this blog up and running, because otherwise Little Boo will be a very Big Boo and I still won’t have started! And I think there are some fun facts to share with people about the joys of becoming a Mama to a gorgeous little human. For...

Supporting Small Businesses, Supporting Each Other
I sit in the small quirky cafe in the center of Cork city, sipping on my americano, nibbling a fresh croissant and soaking up the vibe of this cute premises that’s just bursting with colour and character. As I gaze around at the soft furnishings, the happy dude...WHAT’S NEW… OPHELIA, TOOTH ACHES AND JAZZ
We had wild and wicked winds to contend with, thanks to hurricane Ophelia. Seeing the damaged trees all round still, with heavy long branches torn from their trunks, we didn’t dare risk venturing out for markets when warnings of storm Brian arrived. However, unlike his mad angry sister, Brian turned out to be a much calmer affair and we probably wouldn’t have taken off to the coast of Wales in our white 3×3 gazebo… but you never know!
